Temporary Kitchen Assistant Role

Key Details:

• Position: Kitchen Assistant (Temporary)
• Location: A College in Mid Essex – close to Chelmsford City
• Start Date: ASAP
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Duration: Starting immediately and lasting until at least December 19, 2024
• Pay Rate: 12.85 – 13.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Food Prep and Service: Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals.
• Dishwashing and Cleaning: Ensuring cleanliness by washing dishes, maintaining the kitchen during service, and performing deep cleaning as necessary.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Check: Must be valid within the past 3 months or registered on the Update Service.
• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, such as a kitchen porter, is required.
• Food Hygiene Level 2: Desired but not mandatory.
