The roleWe have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Kitchen Assistant. We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic, committed and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our first-class catering team in Kempston. As our Kitchen Assistant, you will be essential for the overall efficiency and standards of our back of house function committed to providing a fine dining experience to our residents.
Providing an efficient and effective restaurant service that fully meets the needs of our residents, along with the high standards expected within the Home.
Assisting with fresh food items, plating and delivering to our residents during food service times.
Ensuring all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately and that overall cleanliness of the kitchen is maintained at all times.
Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained at all timesWhat you will need to succeedWe are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly. The successful candidate will have/be:

• Previous catering or hospitality experience – desirable
• Be able to comfortably work as part of a team.
• Have the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality of output.
• Have a keen eye for detail.
• Be flexible (we can also offer 30-40 hours a week to suit)
