Barker Ross are looking for a House Porter to work for one of our clients in central London.

Our client is the oldest gentlemen’s club in London, founded in 1693, and is considered by many to be the most exclusive private club in London, having among its members, the Royal family or PMs.

Job Description for House Porter:

Location: Green Park, SW1

Pay Rate: 11.44 phr (PAYE)

Start date: 14th October 2024

Duration: On-going

Working Hours: 6.30am to 10.30am (Monday to Friday)

Duties:

House porter

• cleaning and taking rubbish out into the street bins
• sorting and tidy up the linen room
• moving clean/dirty linen
• clean the 2 changing rooms

Requirements:

– Experience in cleaning

– Reliability and consistency – we are looking for someone that can commit (being a private members’ club it is important to not have a high staff turnover)

– Discretion is also required (due to its important members, pictures cannot be taken inside the club or of any member)
