We have an exciting opportunity for a head chef to lead the team through the new opening of this brand new gastro pub based in central Oxford. The pub has gone through a total revamp and is set to open its doors in January 2024.

The pub is now part of a thriving group of gastro pubs, boasting fresh food, high-end pub grub, deep pan pizza and sandwiches. Set in a touristy part of Oxford, this pub will be heavily focused on lunch time trade. As a new pub opening, the head chef will get to influence the menu and puts plans in place for the successful relaunch of this pub.

Salary £38-40k + Tonc £4-6k per annum

What are we looking for in a head chef?

• A head chef with experience in a gastro pub or similar establishment.
• A true leader who enjoys developing their team
• A head chef who knows their numbers and can deliver GP and wage costs
• Someone who is extremely organised and can adjust to the challenges that may arise with a new business
• A head chef who is passionate about the overall guest experience and the food quality you are serving
