Job Title: Head Chef

Location: Cotswold, UK

Salary: £45,000 + Tips and Bonus

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our clients brand new opening in the Cotswold area. This is an exciting project and a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef to showcase their skills and creativity in a beautiful location.

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with the management team to develop and maintain high standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities: – Create and design innovative and high-quality menus in line with the restaurant’s concept and standards
– Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency and quality at all times
– Manage and train kitchen staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed
– Monitor and control food costs, waste, and stock levels
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
– Work closely with suppliers to source the best quality ingredients for the menu
– Continuously develop and improve menu offerings to keep up with industry trends and customer preferences
– Collaborate with the management team to review and adjust menus, pricing, and operations as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times

Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 rosette experience
– Proven track record of creating and executing high-quality menus
– Strong leadership and management skills
– Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
– In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Passion for cooking and a desire to continuously learn and improve
– Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
– Previous experience in a similar role
