Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular boutique hotel in Teddington, Middlesex and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Events, hospitality & Stage Coordinator – AV Technician to join their team.

The Team Leader AV Technician will report directly to the Operations Manager, liaising on a day-to-day basis with the Senior Guest Services and the Team Leader Event Co-ordinator. He /she will also provide assistance on all technical matters working closely with the IT & Systems Manager on IT systems across the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS

He/she will be expected to:

1. Providing efficient delivery of IT services helping across the business, supporting the IT & Systems Manager where applicable with server and Shell equipment and domain.

1. Ensure a high level of customer service to all users
2. Maintain asset register of all AV Equipment and Furniture for all conference and function rooms.
3. PAT test all Conference and Function room equipment as and when required.
4. Maintain a PAT testing registers for all Conference and Function room equipment.
5. Responsibility for provision of customer focused and efficient technical services to conference organisers and presenters
6. Co-ordinate AV contracts, repairs, servicing, and updates.
7. Co-ordinate photocopier contracts, repairs, servicing, and updates.
8. Maintain laptops and keep updated with anti-virus and software changes.
9. Keep updated all AV SOP manuals and crib sheets.
10. Source space planning software and create plans for all set-up options for all Conference and Function rooms.
11. Recommend new AV technology/equipment.
12. Maintain Video Conferencing Equipment (repairs, servicing, and updates).
13. Focal point for BCP technical and room set-ups and keep SOP manual updated and all team members training up to date.
14. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety
