We are looking for a Chef De Parties to join our team as we truly believe that variety is the spice of life and in this role, you ll have the opportunity to work and to continue to develop your skills not in one kitchen but in a selection of kitchens with a variety of cooking styles across our resort. A Butlin s resort is the home of getting stuck in and our traditional pub Beachcomber Inn is a guest favourite for great tasting home-cooked food. Has passed level 2 Food Safety qualification and his aware of responsibilities in relation to allergens and keeping our guests safe. Previous experience in a fast paced and busy kitchen environment, with previous experience in food production from the following range of cooking styles: the preparation of meat, poultry, fish, and vegetable dishes. Please note it need not be all cooking styles. You will be responsible for: Consistently delivery of our brand standards, menu and dish specifications. Completing venue opening and closing checks Maintaining a safe, hygienic and secure working environment. Completion of the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules. Completion of food safety documentation including temperate checks, cleaning and maintenance reports. Recording and monitoring of all food waste. Correct storage of food with respect for the principles of first in first out (FIFO) Typical working hours: this role has a pay rate of £11.29 per hour (paid fortnightly) working 40 hours a week, across five days over seven.
