About the role

Senior Business Analyst, to join our MIS/Business Objects team. This role covers key business & finance reporting and data analysis. Working with the IS Manger you will be in charge of leading day to day business reporting with a focus on supporting our Finance team with their analytical and reporting needs. This will involve working with team members to define and deliver quality reporting and analysis for their business areas to support and influence business decisions.

This role will suit someone who has had previous experience working with Business Intelligence applications and excellent knowledge of business processes, reporting and analysis.

Role Responsibility

• Collaboration with colleagues to extrapolate and analyse data.
• Proactively work with stakeholders to improve business reporting processes and to maximise system and data utilization in the business.
• Work with 3rd parties and internal teams to build on automated reporting
• Work with suppliers and other stakeholders to achieve effective solutions.
• Work to reliably and efficiently produce timely and accurate management information.
• Work to deliver system improvements and projects to support the company’s growth plans.
• Work promptly, jointly & proactively on projects to improve cash profit & customer satisfaction.

You will need

• Previous experience of working in an IT, Finance or Analyst role
• Experience in analytics, performing data exploration and designing, specifying and developing business reporting.
• Good knowledge of Business Intelligence applications (such as SAP Business Objects/Azure/Tableau/Microsoft BI/Power BI).
• Solid grasp of SQL would be helpful.
• Good understanding of data modelling and databases.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritise engineering decisions
• Demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to focus on quality of work
