Gymkhana are seeking a Assistant Bar Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. The Restaurant
Operating in Mayfair for over a decade, Gymkhana is inspired by the bars, social, sports, and members clubs of the British Raj in India. It serves contemporary Indian cuisine using seasonal British ingredients, with a strong focus on the tandoori oven. Since its opening in 2013, Gymkhana has garnered numerous accolades, including its first Michelin star and, in 2024, a second Michelin star, making it the first Indian restaurant in London to hold two.The restaurant was also named Restaurant of the Year by Restaurant Magazine and BMW Square Meal in 2014.

The Position
As Assistant Bar Manager you will have experience assisting in managing at least one outlet, you will have a good understanding of cocktails, beers and whiskey, be outgoing, driven and flexible. The successful candidate will be on the floor running the bar, assisting the Bar Manager with training, rotas, stock and cost control.
The Successful Assistant Bar Manager will have:
Prior experience as an Assistant Bar Manager within a high-quality restaurant or bar;
Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail;
Passion for beverage, food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;
